Kwara set for more investment opportunities ― Lawmaker

Member, House of Representatives, representing Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency, Hon. Ahmed Ndakene has said that the leadership award on Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State will open the state to more investment opportunities.

The lawmaker, who congratulated the governor on his emergence as the Leadership Governor of the Year, 2020, said that the award is well deserved.

Hon. Ndakene, who described Governor Abdulrazaq as a golden fish that has no hiding place, called the award an affirmation of the excellence-driven posture of the governor’s administration.

Ndakene said the achievements of the governor in prioritizing and repositioning infrastructure and human capacity development are helping to put the state on the path of socio-economic growth and development.

He also commended the governor on the welfare of workers in the state, saying that the workers had known untold hardship prior to the coming of the present administration.

According to the legislator, the economic turnaround brought about by the people-oriented policies of the present administration deserves commendation.

The lawmaker also outlined other areas the governor has performed well to include: Healthcare, Education, Agriculture, Water, and Security, and prayed that “May Allah continue to guide the governor and bless him more in wisdom and willpower to continue to do more for the people of Kwara to the admiration of all”.
