I eat a lot of sweet potatoes every day. I want to know if this is bad? I also want to know if sweet potato is a rich source of Vitamin D.

Sweet potatoes have been confirmed to be good for the body. Apart from the high fibre content, the presence of some minerals like magnesium, which is present in sweet potatoes, makes it an excellent facilitator for digestion. Sweet potatoes are easy to digest as well since they mainly contain starch. They are soothing to the stomach and intestines, so you can avoid any difficulties of digesting them. While potatoes do not have Vitamin D, they are packed with many other rich vitamins. Sweet potatoes are excellent immune system boosters that defend your body from a wide variety of conditions. They are very rich in beta-carotene, which is a major antioxidant, along with vitamin C and B complex vitamins, iron and phosphorus. All these nutrients help in strengthening the immunity and keeping you healthy.
