The Ibarapa APC Initiative has congratulated Hon. Sunday Adepoju on his appointment as a Board Member of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This was contained in a statement signed by the group’s Chairman, Engr. Wale Adeoye, and Secretary, Hon. (Alhaja) Ramota Okemakinde.
The statement said that Adepoju’s appointment was a recognition of his exemplary track record in public service and invaluable contributions to the APC’s success in the recent general elections.

“This appointment is not just a reward for your remarkable performance in past public offices but also a testament to your unwavering commitment to the growth of our party.
“We have no doubt that you will bring your wealth of experience to bear in ensuring the rapid growth and infrastructural development of our tertiary institutions,” the statement read.
The group noted the symbolic significance of this appointment for the people of Ibarapaland, marking the first time an indigene of the area has been appointed to such a position under Tinubu’s administration.
They said that the appointment was a response to their concerns about the marginalization of Ibarapa indigenes in recent federal appointments.
“We urge you to serve as a good ambassador of Ibarapaland, showing loyalty and dedication in this new role,” the statement said.
The Ibarapa APC Initiative expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for recognizing Adepoju’s potential and appealed for further inclusiveness in future federal appointments.
The group congratulated Adepoju, wishing him a successful and impactful tenure.
