The Governorship Candidate for the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 election in Lagos State, Mr Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has reiterated his commitment to continued support for the wellness and well-being of Lagosians.

Rhodes-Vivour made this commitment while speaking at the launch of a new mobile application, tagged “Our Lagos,” aimed at providing economic opportunities and policy information to Lagos residents in honour of the magnanimous support he received from them during the 2023 gubernatorial poll.

The LP governorship candidate described the initiative as “a practical tool to empower the people who believe in a better Lagos,” stating that the web app offers users access to grants, skill development programmes, job opportunities, and information about Rhodes-Vivour’s policy proposals for Lagos State.

According to him, the new mobile application is about demonstrating a different approach to leadership, one centred on service, accountability, and genuinely improving lives.

“The new platform features three main components: a grant programme for small businesses and entrepreneurs, skill development courses tailored to current market demands, and a job portal connecting users with employment opportunities through partnerships with private companies,” he said.

Additionally, he mentioned that the app includes a section dedicated to policy discussions, where users can access detailed information about his vision for Lagos State across sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic development.
