Cancer symptoms are usually specific to the site of the Cancer. Thus, Lung Cancer might present with a persistent cough, weight loss and bloody sputum while Cancer of the Prostate might present with back pain, poor Urine flow as well as bloody urine. However, certain symptoms are common to all Cancers. These are; unexplained bowel changes, bleeding from any part of the body orifice such as anus, nose or mouth. Sudden changes in Urination habits, blood in the Urine, persistent back pain, breast or testicular lumps, weight loss as well as unusual coughing among other complaints.
A complete physical and laboratory examination should be undertaken as soon as possible if you have any of the above named symptoms.
