How to handle pain from hatred, betrayal — Paul Enenche

The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, has shared insights on managing the pain of hatred and betrayal, encouraging people to seek healing through a connection with God’s love.

In his sermon on Sunday at the church’s headquarters in Abuja, Enenche explained that immersing oneself in God’s presence can bring comfort and help heal emotional wounds.

The cleric urged his congregation to focus on God’s purpose and plan for their lives, which he believes can help redirect attention from past hurts.

He also suggested finding positive aspects in difficult experiences, encouraging people to look for lessons or personal growth opportunities within challenging situations.

He said, “Soak yourself in the presence of love. The presence of God is the presence of love. Soak yourself there.

“The easiest way to clean a stain is to use bleach; the easiest way to handle darkness is to release the light. The easiest way to heal the heart is to connect with love.

“Focus on the purpose and plan of God for your life and your future. Just focus on what God wants you to do with your life now.

“Identify any advantage that can be found in the situation you experienced and focus on it.”
