Khalifa AbdulGafar Babalola of the Toriqat Satia Organisation Worldwide Ministries has declared that prayers are always answered by Allah but there could be hindrances when the guidelines indicating how a potent prayer is said are ignored.
Babalola made this declaration on Sunday in a sermon at an event to celebrate the birthday of the founder of the organisation, Sheikh Rasheed Karamollah, held at the headquarters of the organisation in the Omoowo area of Offa, Kwara State.
The Islamic scholar, who told the gathering that only God should be approached for solutions to any problems, stressed the need for the people to always remember that only He determines events.
“God gives every human being the freedom to call on Him at will, and at any time, but ignoring the guidelines usually hinders prayers from being answered.
“We need to always pray and work towards making the prayers come to manifestation. Some of these guidelines are contained in His commandment, and we only need to adopt them and see the effect of our prayers,” he said.
Babalola added that God created every living soul for a reason and the realisation of such purpose on earth depends on the individual’s ability to try to break generational and self-inflicted curses, all of which he said are impediments to prayers.
He described the birthday of the founder, Sheikh Karamallah, as “a special day of prayers and celebration of love” for the adherents.
Babalola said “everything that we do or say is by the grace of God and we must not continue to act as ungrateful beings by forgetting all His commandments.”
According to him, disobedience to the will of the Creator and giving in to temptations and the schemes of the devil are some of the things that make people go astray and which must be avoided.
Rejoicing with members of the organisation worldwide on the celebration, Babalola said Toriqat Satia, popularly called All-in-One, “is a way that teaches love and justice to all humans, irrespective of faith, political leanings and gender.”
