Guber poll: PDP set to flag off campaigns in Ondo

The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has slated Tuesday next week for the flag-off of its governorship campaign for the forthcoming Ondo State election.

This announcement was made in a statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, on Friday.

It urged the party members and the general public to see the event as significant in the party’s drive to reclaim the state.

The statement urged members of the party that continue to work together to achieve the desired victory.

The statement reads: “This is to inform teeming members of our great Party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of the official Flag-off of the Governorship election Campaign in Ondo State scheduled for Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

“By this, the Party invites all Organs, leaders, members, supporters of the PDP, and the general public to see this very significant event as we commence the expected victory of the PDP and its candidate at the November 16th, 2024 Governorship election in Ondo State.

“The NWC urges members of our Party to continue to work together to achieve the desired victory as majority of the people of Ondo State earnestly await a PDP government in the State.”
