“This seed is divinely configured in her, unique to her and can never be destroyed irrespective of what has happened to her, what she might have passed through, what she might be passing through or any negative thing she might have experienced in life.
“The awakened woman is the one who refuses to be chained to her past. She knows that the past is a stale cheque. She knows that the only thing she does with the past, whether failure or success, is to learn from it. She is one who has come to the knowledge of God as her source of every grace in life,” she said.
The managing director and chief executive officer of Psaltery International Limited, Yemisi Iranloye, while speaking on the topic: ‘The Creative Way To Make Money’ said there is something in every woman’s hand that she can turn to money, and urged them to start small and dream big.
According, to her “there are several businesses you can do that can give you seed capital. With N5,000, you can lease a hectare of land and plant maize, vegetable, okro, spinach and so on. You can start a poultry, go into snailery or catering.
“Whatever you decide to do, have a strategy of how to do it and be creative. Add your own unique touch to your business that will stand you out. Crave to give people value for their money. People want to pay for value,”she said.
The guest lecturer urged women entrepreneurs not to spend their capital.“You must not spend your capital, rather, you must allow it to grow. It is also important for you to have mentors,” she said.
