Governor Buni appoints Acting SSG, CoS in Yobe

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has approved the appointment of Alhaji Baba Malam Wali as the Acting Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Alhaji Abdullahi Yusuf Gashua as the Acting Chief of Staff (COS) to the Governor.

The Director General of Press and Media Affairs, Mamman Mohammed, disclosed this in a press statement on Monday.

The statement noted that the appointment of the two officials is effective immediately.

“Until the dissolution of the State Executive Council last month, the Acting Secretary to the State Government and Chief of Staff had both served in substantive capacities”.
