AARE Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams, has appointed new aides, including Mr Kunle Lawal and Samson Oseni, as Special Assistants (SAs), Information Technology (IT) and Special Duties respectively.
Special Assistant on Media to the Aare, Kehinde Aderemi, said this on Tuesday in a release made available to newsmen in Lagos, saying that Iba Adams took the step following relocation abroad of his former media aide, Mr Segun Akanni, who is no longer working with the office of the Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland or have anything to do with the office anymore.
“I wish to bring to the notice of the public, including my friends, business associates, members of my group, the Oodua Peoples Congress, (OPC) here in Nigeria, and the Oodua Progressive Union (OPU) in the Diaspora, that Mr Segun Akanni, having relocated abroad, is no longer working with the office of the Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland. And, I wish him well in his future endeavours,” the release stated.

“Meanwhile, new appointments have been made, and I have, therefore, appointed Mr Kunle Lawal and Samson Oseni, as Special Assistants, Information Technology (IT) and Special Duties respectively,” it added.
Lawal, who is SA on Information Technology (IT), is a graduate of Computer Science from Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago- Iwoye, Ogun State, who Oseni, who is SA on Special Duties, studied Business Administration at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos.
The Aare Ona Kakanfo, Iba Adams, however, promised to continue to promote the interest, identity and unity of Yorubaland and project the race positively to the world.
