The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) on Sunday cleared illegal motor parks causing obstructions at New Era, Coca Cola junctions and Road Block area of Jalingo, Taraba State capital.
Corps Commander Selina Williams, the Taraba Sector Commander of FRSC who ordered the clearance operation, noted that the action followed public complaints about the ugly activities.
“Following complaints by the public on the emergence of illegal motor parks in Jalingo the Taraba state capital, the command swiftly deploy officers and men to embark on operations.
“As you can see we have just finished clearing the illegal parks around new era junction, Coca Cola junction as well as roadblock area.
“We have been doing this regularly but as soon as we turn back, they will resume the illegal activities causing obstructions to vehicular and human movement in the city,” she said.
Williams warned that the Command would continue to sustain the operations any time such illegal parks resurfaced.
