Fayemi has shown exemplary leadership in Ekiti ― Oba Alabi

The Alawe of Ilawe-Ekiti, Oba Ajibade Alabi has congratulated Ekiti State governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi on his third year anniversary at the helm of affairs, describing his performance as outstanding.

The traditional ruler in a statement released by his media adviser, Chief Ajibade Olubunmi said the governor in the last three years initiated life-changing programmes across all sectors, adding, “he has shown exemplary and untainted leadership in the governance of Ekiti State.”

The immediate past chairman of the state council of traditional rulers said, “The Governor is worthy of commendation for his performance in developing Ekiti state by executing legacy projects which include the ongoing construction of a Cargo Airport in the State capital, Ikun Dairy project, completion of a standard civic centre for the State, the novel building of a befitting chamber for Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers and tarring of roads in the face of the nation’s economic downturn.”

He equally commended the governor for his thoughtfulness in creating the 19 local council development areas (LCDAs) which he said would draw development and growth to people at the grassroots.

Oba Alabi said governor Fayemi as the chairman of the Nigeria Governor’s Forum has been projecting the image of Ekiti state to the world and his sterling efforts in galvanizing his colleagues in the forum for the interest of the citizens.

The statement added, ” the monarch also congratulated the wife of the governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi for her impactful projects in the State especially in the area of advocacy for gender equality and condemning any form of gender-based violence and the deputy governor, Chief Bisi Egbeyemi for being a strong pillar of support for Governor Fayemi’s success in governance.

“Oba Alabi prayed to God to grant the Governor the energy, good health and the wisdom to successfully steer the ship of Ekiti State and attain greater heights in our country, Nigeria in the nearest future.”
