In a dazzling display of festive cheer, Eko Hotels and Suites officially launched its annual Tropical Christmas Wonderland on Sunday evening, transforming the iconic venue into a magical holiday destination.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu presided over the spectacular light-up ceremony, marking the beginning of what promises to be an extraordinary festive season.
The event was a vibrant celebration of African hospitality, with the grounds coming alive under a canopy of twinkling lights and festive decorations. Addressing the esteemed guests, Mr Christopher Chagoury, Chairman of Eko Hotels and Suites, stated that “the Tropical Christmas season at Eko Hotels and Suites has grown to become more than just an event; it is an experience that brings families, friends, and communities together.”
He invited guests to join a magical journey from December 20th, 2024, to January 2nd, 2025, promising a wonderland with attractions catering to every age group.
Additionally, Chagoury specially acknowledged Zenith Bank, the headline sponsor of the Tropical Christmas Wonderland, for their unwavering dedication to the growth of Nigeria’s hospitality and tourism industry. “Your partnership has been a cornerstone of this journey,” he said, emphasizing the collaborative spirit that makes such grand celebrations possible.

He further hinted that Christmas Wonderland will feature an impressive entertainment lineup, including musical theatres, spectacular circus shows, and several other activities, ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors.
To wrap up the ceremony was a captivating performance by the Evolution Choir. Their powerful rendition of Christmas carols filled the air, creating a magical atmosphere that captured the season’s spirit.
