An aspirant for the chairmanship position of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP ) in Ekiti State for the forthcoming congress, Barrister Olowolafe Sunday has encouraged members of the party in the state and beyond to actively participate in the ongoing membership validation and registration of new members.
The legal luminary cum politician asserted that the “party is at a critical stage and its future depends on a robust membership base across the country.
“To achieve this, aggressive membership registration and validation of new and old members is imperative. This strategic move will unify the party, enhance its numerical strength, and ensure accurate membership data. By doing so, the PDP will position itself for long-term success, foster a culture of inclusivity and participation, and reaffirm its commitment to democratic values.”

Addressing party faithful in Ikere-Ekiti on Monday, the two-term legal adviser of the party in the state clarified that aggressive membership registration and validation would also ensure that the party’s membership records are up-to-date and accurate,” as this will enable effective communication and engagement with members, encouraging active participation in party activities and elections.”
He said, “Moreover, it will boost the party’s credibility and reputation, making it a formidable force in Nigerian politics.
“The PDP must adopt a proactive approach to membership registration and validation, leveraging technology and community outreach to engage new and old members. By doing so, the party will revitalize its grassroots presence, enhance its numerical strength, and ensure accurate membership records.
“The time for aggressive membership by registration and validation is now. Let us unite and revitalize the PDP, securing a brighter future for Nigeria.”
