Gospel music minister, Dorcas Awolumate, founder of Dorcas Awolumate Music Ministry (DAMM) and Act Of Dorcas Empowerment programme, is set to mark the 10th year anniversary of DAMM.
The day will also witness the celebration of seven years of Song of Praise concert and the launch of her new album as she described the day as one that has been ordained by God, adding that she and other ministers of God are looking forward to the big day, which on July 20 at Freudes Place, Lagos State.
Dorcas, who hails from Abeokuta, while speaking with R said she started her music career officially in the year 2013, and in 2015, God ministered to her to start a yearly concert tagged: “Sacrifice of Praise” which she commenced in 2017 and has been a source of blessing to People.
She further said: “In 2018, I started another ministry called Act Of Dorcas Empowerment to support the needy and the ministry has impacted many lives and still believe in God to do more.
“Giving back to the people provokes God’s blessings because God himself will be happy to bless anyone who help others,” she added.
As a gospel music minister, she believed that gospel songs should have great positive impact in the life of the singer as well as people who listen to the music, nothing that gospel music without the gospel of Jesus Christ and words of God is regarded as mere entertainment which will not touch lives.
