Earlier, the prosecutor, Cpl. Odusina Olawale had told the court that the defendant committed the offence on July 12 at about 2 p.m. at Iremo road, Ile-Ife.
Olawale said that the defendant conspired with others now at large to commit felony to wit: stealing.
He alleged that the defendant stole one Techno LA7 Pro Android phone valued N50,000, the property of one Oladipupo Hezekiah.
According to him, the offences contravene Sections 383, 390(9) and 516 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Osun, 2002.
The defendant, who was not legally represented, however, pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing.
