Olamilakan, whose address was not provided, is facing a three-count charge of fraud, stealing and threat to life.
The Prosecutor, Insp. Sunday Eigbejiale, told the court that the accused committed the offences in 2016 at Ogunmodede Street in Somorin area of Abeokuta, Ogun.
Eigbejiale said that the accused obtained N52 million from the complainant, Mr Ayobami Alasela, to build a house at Ibeju, Lekki area in Lagos.
He said the accused did not build the house, but rather threatened the complainant that he would kill him anytime he demanded for his money or property.
Eigbejiale said the accused converted the money to his personal use.
The offences contravened Sections 419 and 390(9) and 86(1) of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun, 2006.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
In her ruling, the Magistrate, Mrs Adeola Adelaja, granted the accused bail in the sum of N5million with two surety in like sum and adjourned the case until April 24 for mention.
