The Oyo State judiciary, on Thursday, July 15, 2021, commenced its annual vacation and the vacation will be on till September 10, 2012.
The vacation order was given by the Chief Judge of Oyo State, Justice Munta Ladipo Abimbola in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Paragraph 4(b) of Order 45 of the High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules 2010 and by all other powers enabling him in that behalf.
Justice Abimbola stated that “I do hereby appoint the period commencing from Thursday, July 15, 2021, and ending on Friday, September 10, 2021, both days inclusive as the annual vacation of the High Court of Justice, Oyo State of Nigeria.
“During the period, the court shall remain open. Civil actions, bail applications and enforcement of fundamental human rights cases may be heard. Further, where actions need expeditious hearing, and the judge at the request of all parties, agrees to hear any such actions, same shall also be heard,” justice Abimbola ordered.
