Although I am a practising Muslim, I want to say with a degree of certainty that Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye is a blessing to Nigeria. He has been an icon and a great inspiration to many. He is a voice of peace, patriotism and national unity.
As he celebrates his 75th birthday, he deserves the appreciation of all Nigerians. He has been used by God to lift many Christians in Nigeria out of poverty.
Interestingly, many people want Adeboye to pray for them. I find it necessary to urge Daddy G.O to continue praying for President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government. There is no doubt that such prayer will go a long way in restoring peace and prosperity to Nigeria. Let me not fail to urge him to pray for me also.
Our hope and prayer is that the Almighty Allah will continue to preserve the life of Pastor Adeboye for us so that he may witness many more fruitful years in the Lord’s vineyard. I am of the fervent belief that he will use the occasion of his 75th birthday to touch many more lives, including those of Muslims and Christians. The essence of living is to work towards liberating the poor from poverty. That is Pastor Adeboye’s calling and I am sure that many Nigerians appreciate him for his steadfastness over the years.
To have a great man of Pastor Adeboye’s stature around in Nigeria gives me joy and fulfilment, particularly as he is of the Yoruba ethnic stock. Nigerians have great respect for Pastor Adeboye. Our prayer is that he will live long to celebrate 100 years on earth. Many happy returns sir. May Allah continue to strengthen you.
