There seems to be more to Olamide’s closeness with the Ogun State governor-elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun. Many have been wondering what could be responsible for the sudden closeness of the musician and Prince Abiodun.
But R gathered that Olamide, a son of the soil, worked tirelessly for the governorship ambition of Abiodun and it was only normal that the governor-elect invited him to be part of the members of the transition committee.
The last few weeks, Abiodun has been working closely with members of the committee on how to have a smooth takeover from the outgoing government of Senator Ibikunle Amosun.
It was surprising to many people when the Olamide was announced as a member of the Commerce and Industry sub-committee alongside popular Yoruba actress, Eniola Badmus.
Olamide, who joined the Goldberg family as one of its ambassadors few days back has also been frequenting the state. He said he’s excited that the governor-elect considered him for the role and thanked Abiodun for the opportunity.
