BARELY 15 months into the end of his second tenure in office, Osun State governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, may have finally sent the list of commissioners to form his cabinet to the state legislature.
Tribune Online gathered that the state House of Assembly will, any moment from now, announce the names of the commissioners and special advisers appointed by the governor and subsequently ratified the list after legislative process.
A source informed Tribune Online that the list of the nominees was submitted to the parliament on Wednesday.
A principal officer in the state legislature, who pleaded anonymity, told Tribune Online that the lawmakers were likely to announce the names on or before next Monday.
Among the names that made the list, as gathered by Tribune Online, were some past commissioners, namely Mr Basiru Ajibola, Biyi Odunlade, Ismaila Jayeioba.
It was also gathered that a large number of former commissioners and aides were dropped by the governor.
