Member, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Rotimi Abiru, representing Shomolu Constituency 2, has joined other APC members in the country in congratulating the newly elected APC National Chairman, Senator Abdulahi Adamu, and other exco members at the national, state and local government levels of the party, expressing confidence that with the new leadership in office, the unity and progress of APC is guaranteed as well as its victory, come 2023 General Elections.
Abiru, who is immediate past Chief Whip of the House, said this on Monday in a statement made available to newsmen, asserting that the ability of the new executives to move the party forward with new ideas and innovations was not in doubt, even as he implored the generality of APC members to do their best to deliver fully all seats that would be contested for by APC in the forthcoming general elections.
The lawmaker, who described last Saturday’s national convention of the party as a landmark success for “our great party, All Progressives Congress (APC), also congratulated Hon Gbenga Abdullah, the LGA chairman and other excos members in his Shomolu Bariga Constituency, appealing to all members in the constituency to unite for victory, come 2023 elections.
He particularly urged them to shun internal wrangling and begin a new chapter of unity, peace and progress for APC.
