Figuratively speaking, the word virgin may mean a number of things including chastity. But Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph, left much of the interpretation hanging while speaking about the criticisms and name calling she gets because of her sexy and voluptuous physique.
The actress made it known that people now pay millions to have her kind of body.
“Someone said to me one day: ‘Please Anita you need to reduce your big hips and bum’. I was like, ‘Excuse me reduce these hips and bum?
“This body that people pay millions to have now? And God gave me for free you say I should what? It really got me angry.
“This could have been depressing for some people. I always tell those who care to listen that before you call me names, make sure you’re a virgin like me.”
The Anambra State-born script interpreter also dished out soothing words to people going through hard times and depression.
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that. In any way you are hurting, I’m sending light and love your way. We need you. The world needs you. A lot of people that may castigate you and do the most despicable things to you, but do worse than you in private.
“The difference between you and them is they do theirs in secret and you do yours in public. At the end of the day you are not as bad as they think, she maintained.
