A popular actor in the English version of Nollywood is currently enmeshed in a controversy over an issue that has to do with a relationship and some money which he collected and failed to pay back.
The actor shares the same first name with the former military head of state of a neighbouring country who was said to have lined up political leaders and shot them dead when he took over power. The man later became the civilian president.
According to Olofofos, the actor is currently in trouble as he was said to have engaged in what was close to yahoo yahoo or a scam. He was said to have collected about N4 million from a lady who he promised to marry and did not only fail to marry her, but also refused to return the lady’s money.
Olofofos told Nosey Parker that the actor started a relationship with a lady and when the affair was some months old, he begged the her for a N4 million loan which the lady was said to have given him, with an agreed time for him to pay back.
But only recently, the actor started avoiding the lady, refusing to pick her calls and blocking her on the social media and it was after many attempts by the lady to reach him failed that she raised the alarm on the social media, insisting that the actor must pay back her money.

Another actor’s marriage in trouble
Well, we were not there o. It was Amebos that told Olofofos who eventually told Nosey Parker about the current travails of this fine-boy actor in the English version of Nollywood whose marriage is currently under threat.
The actor, though no longer a popular face on screen because of hard times, has a surname which, if written, looks like Ogbono’ and he has always been in the news for wrong reasons. In fact, there was a time Amebos swore by their papas graves that he loved doing man to man thing.
According to Olofofos, for some time now, things have not been going well with the actor and his wife, but anytime the marriage wanted to hit the rock, they tried as much as possible to patch things up, but this time, the wife seems to have decided to say enough is enough.
It was gathered that everything is pointing to the fact that the man’s wife, who was said to have accused him of not always staying at home and always engaging in shady things, has reverted to her maiden name both on official matters and on her social media accounts.
This has brought various speculations that the marriage, which was contracted under controversial circumstance, is set to collapse.
Actress’s ailment returns
This popular actress is controversy personified. She is always in one form of scandal or another. Until she got married which eventually packed up, she was always getting into wahala. In fact, she was said to be very much in love with marijuana, also known as Igbo.
The actress, whose surname is the same as that of a former university head who had the institution’s library named after him, due to all these problems she always involved herself in, coupled with the crash of her marriage, developed some disorders and was always in and out of hospitals.
After she left a hospital last year, the actress returned to her wahala ways. She was either abusing her colleagues unnecessarily or cooking up stories in order to get media attention. In fact, one of the cooked-up stories almost landed her in trouble.
Well, as of now, Olofofos told Nosey Parker that the actress’s ailment seems to have returned going by what they described as her recent visits to the same hospital where the ailment was diagnosed.
In fact, some of her Nollywood colleagues who brought her health issue to the social media have asked fans to pray for her while they too have promised to go to the nearest churches and mosques to beg God to deliver her.
