A group, the Coalition of Young People for Good Leadership (CYPGL) has appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to recognise and confer national honour award on the Chief Executive Officer and President of Oduwa Blockchain Infrastructure Limited and Oduwa Global Incorporated, Dr Bright Enabulele, for his outstanding and significant contributions to youth empowerment in particular and national development in general.
CYPGL President, Athekpe Abdulkadir, made the appeal during a press conference which was held on Wednesday in Abuja.
According to Abdulkadir, conferring Dr Enabulele with a befitting national will send a positive signal and encourage others to strive for excellence and be worthy and good Nigeria ambassadors wherever they are in the world.
“Dr Enabulele is a patriotic and exemplary ambassador of Nigeria having made considerable contributions across various sectors of the nation’s economy.
“Ranging from humanitarian activities he has been involved for many years now, empowering young Nigerians and the underprivileged in the society and giving succour to the needy.

“We feel at this point he has contributed to nation building even though he’s not in the mainstream of government circle but within his own private activities, he has still been able to reach out to those in need and that is why we feel he needs to be given national honour by the President, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Although, we have different categories for the national honour, but anyone that comes from the Federal Government as it were will be a good for this distinguished Nigerian.
“Once it is a national honour from the Federal Government, that is it. Conferring Dr Enabulele with a befitting national will not only send a positive signal and encourage others to strive for excellence but will make them to be worthy and good Nigeria ambassadors wherever they find themselves in the world,” Abdulkadir told Tribune Online.
Tribune Online reports that Dr Enabulele was named as one of the 100 Most Notable Peace Icons in Africa 2024 in recognition of his commitment to peace-building and technological innovation.
