So long dad’ That was a memorable message pieced together a few days ago by the Managing Director of Makon Group and flagbearer of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the Oyo State governorship election, Seyi Makinde as he remembers his late father.
The politician invited his friends and supporters to the St Paul’s Cathedral Cemetary in Ibadan where he laid a wreath and recounted the experience of losing his father, Pa Olatunbosun Makinde five years ago.
In an emotion laden voice, the philanthropist, who heads the ‘Omi Titun’ Movement described his late father as his mentor, guiding light and pillar that supported him while he also urged those present to join him in prayers for him.
