The state chairman of the Party, Mazi Elias Okemiri, who briefed Journalists at the end of their state meeting held at the party head office, Abakaliki, added that the decision was unanimously accepted by her members.
“Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) has to zone its governorship ticket for 2019 elections to the southern zone of Ebonyi state and we are seriously committed to seeing it come through.
“This decision was reached in our just concluded state meeting which was held today here at the party office and it was unanimously accepted by our party members.

“Presently, we have three governorship aspirants who have indicated interest to fly our flag in 2019 and as the party constitution demands they will be screened and would be subjected to pass through party primaries,” he said.
Mazi Okemiri who refused to disclosed the names of the three Guber aspirants accept at the appropriate time added that the party would feature candidates both for senatorial positions, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly in the forthcoming elections.
“l cannot give you their names now accept at the appropriate time but be assured that they are credible candidates to feature for elections.
“So in all the party has gotten interested forms for three Guber aspirants, two for senatorial seats, two again for House of Representatives, State House of Assembly and it is our belief that many more will come because we have an open door policy for all Nigerians,” he explained.
