The call was made by the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP in the state and former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir while inaugurating his campaign harmonization committee in Bauchi on Sunday at his campaign office.
Bala Mohammed explained that the committee was set up and charged with the responsibility of consoling all those who lost the primary elections within and outside the party as well as wooing other aggrieved members of other political parties in the state who felt cheated by the outcome of their respective parties primaries.

He noted that shortly after he emerged victorious in the recent PDP governorship primary election, he has visited his other contenders, Senators Abdul Ahmed Ningi and Adamu Ibrahim Gumba and solicited their support and those of their supporters ahead of the 2019 general elections in order to give the PDP an edge over others in the state.
The gubernatorial candidate also promised that if elected, he would improve the welfare of workers, pensioners and salary earners in the state whom he alleged were being maltreated by the present state government under the APC.
While responding on behalf of others, Chairman of the committee and former Senator representing Bauchi Central, Bala Adamu Kariya commended the governorship candidate for inaugurating the committee assuring that he would work towards uniting PDP members in the state so that the party could triumph in the next election.
Bala Kariya further assured that his committee will work assiduously to ensure that not only PDP members but others who felt aggrieved from other political parties were wooed into the PDP fold boasting that the PDP has the structure of winning the general elections in the state.
He then called for useful suggestions from members of the PDP to enable the committee succeed in its assignment declaring that time is not on their side but positive results will be achieved.
