ONE person has been killed and more than 12 others injured as factions of hoodlums clashed in the Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos State.
An unidentified member of one of the two warring groups was late on Tuesday hacked to death in the renewed hostility.
The police had on Tuesday afternoon restored normalcy following a more than twenty four hours clash between hoodlums from Abule Oki and Mulero Road boys in Iyana Ipaja.
It was gathered that the two groups reinforced their members late on Tuesday and clashed with dangerous weapons, including broken bottles, sticks, iron and other dangerous weapons.
The ever- busy road was also blocked as the hoodlums made bonfire on a side of the road and prevented motorists from passing through Iyana Ipaja.
No fewer than 20 people were arrested by a combined team of policemen led by the Area Commander in charge of Area M, ACP Akika and the Commander of the Rapid Response Squad, Olatunji Dish.
No fewer than 20 members of the two groups were arrested by the police, while normalcy was again restored .
