Affluent Nigerians have been charged to use the occasion of the yuletide to remember those around them and put smiles on their faces.

In his speech, the father of Ogunmakin, High Chief Uche James Akwukwaegbu, (BAWAS) informed the people that the occasion was prompted by his daughter, Doris Folake-Uche Ogunmakin and her husband, adding that Mrs. Ogunmakin has done much to humanity, especially the people and residents of Amuzukwu Ibeku community.

Bawas emphasized that his daughter’s gesture is not political but born out of her desire to better the lot of humanity, stating that “it has become a yearly ritual”.
