He adjourned the case to July 9, for the complainant Simon Afolabi, to come along with witnesses to testify to his allegations.

Earlier, Afolabi’s counsel Nuruddeen Murtala told the court that Simon Afolabi, his client, and the defendant, Hadiza, are neighbours at Kasuwan Barci Market, Tudun Wada, Kaduna.

“She always goes beyond her boundary to keep her wares on the road that is meant for her and my client’s customers to park their vehicles.

“All efforts made by him to resolve the issue proved abortive, making my client record low business turnout,’’ Murtala, alleged.

“A year ago, my client took her to court and the Judge issued an order asking her to stop displaying her goods on the road meant for vehicles to park.

“When the order elapsed, she continued with the same act and began to threaten my client’s life.

“We have witnesses and I am praying the court to visit the market and see for itself the space allocation,” the counsel said.
