The Chief Executive Officer of Susan Chanel Beauty, Susan Esisi, has reiterated her commitment to making a difference in the beauty industry by restoring the confidence of women with her natural products.
“I developed a natural love for cosmetology and over time made some creams for my friends. So, when they gave me positive reviews and encouraged me, I decided to take it to another level. The ability to help someone feel good about themselves or relieve their stress gives a huge fulfilment.
I’m also armed with knowledge from cosmetic studies in Thailand for several therapeutic techniques as well as a certificate in Los Angeles for Ombré eyebrows as well as other certifications which show that my services are of top-notch quality,” she told Tribune Online in a recent chat.
Susan also bemoaned some of the challenges she encounters running a beauty business in Nigeria.
She said, “Having a business in Nigeria is not without its faults, with the various government regulations set up. There are challenges and setbacks from the government policies and regulations that keep changing daily. It would be easier if they were relaxed a bit to encourage start-ups with good infrastructure and low tax payments.”
However, despite the hiccups, her beauty brand has grown, over the years, to become known worldwide.
“At Susan Chanel Beauty, our tagline is for delicate African skin” because we are committed to catering for the delicate African skin, restoring their confidence and pride,” the CEO assured.
