The Mayegun of Yorubaland, Wasiu Omogbolahan Ayinde, started 2024 with a bold step.
The Ijebu-born singer, who has majorly invested in cattle rearing, is extending his interest in farming as he announced the amount he just pumped into guinea fowl farming.
He disclosed this during his visit to the King of Ijebu-Itele, who recently celebrated his 80th birthday.
Ayinde, through his media manager, Kunle Rasheed, said his target was to crash the price of guinea fowl, which he hinted has become a valuable part of farming in Nigeria.
He called his decision to come into bird farming a means to contribute his quota to President Bola Tinubu’s administration by bringing succour and relief to the people. Highlighting the healthy nutrients of guinea fowl, the Fuji musician revealed the location of his farms in Ibadan, Ilorin, Oyo, Abeokuta, and his hometown, Ijebu-Ode.
