I want to ask the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) to locate a marking venue in Oke Ogun. As the pioneer and oldest accredited examiner and due to the yearly increase in figure of people that sit for the examination, there is need to increase marking venues in Oyo state.
The sister examination council, NECO, has cited two venues in Saki and Iseyin in Oke Ogun zone. If WAEC also does this, it will reduce the frequent accident of examiners that have to travel to Oyo and Ogbomoso for the exercise.
This is an appeal to the WAEC board to establish new centres at Saki and Iseyin, respectively.
Lasun Azeez,
Iseyin
