Renowned Nigerian Actor, Jimi Solanke, is set to be laid to rest on Friday, April 5, at a private cemetery, as confirmed by his family on Tuesday.
The funeral service will be held at the Methodist Church Nigeria in Ipara-Remo, Ogun State.
Solanke, who passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024, at the age of 81, will be honored with a week-long series of events.

These include a choral concert at Ibudo Asa, Ipara Remo, on Monday, April 1, 2024, along with a night of tribute at Freedom Park, Lagos, and candlelight processions at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, and Ipara-Remo, Ogun State.
Cultural displays and masquerade performances will be featured on Saturday, April 6, among other activities. The burial events will conclude on April 7, 2024, with a thanksgiving service.
