President Mohammadu Buhari campaign coordinator in Anambra State, Senator Andy Uba, the National youth coordinator of the campaign trail, Hon. Tony Nwoye, Anambra North Senatorial candidate for the 2019 election, Sen. Magrel Okadigbo and other staunch members of the party, will on Thursday next week, 24 January 2019 received President Mohammadu, the ruling All Progressive Congress APC, candidate for the February 16 Presidential election.
The President’s campaign train will arrive on the said day at Saint Cathedral Church field Onitsha, the commercial city of Anambra state as the APC intensifies its campaign for the general elections.
The southeast zonal coordinator of the campaign, Barrister Sharon Ikeazo, who made the announcement during the inauguration of the state council members, said all is set to receive the President, who has supported the state immensely, ensuring that the committee will work assiduously to ensure the victory in the state.
The Acting Chairman of the party in the state, Chief Basil Ejidike who commended the cooperative manner the supporters exhibit during the inauguration said the state chapter under his wash are prepared to receive the President who will be in the state on Thursday for the state’s leg of the presidential campaign tagged ‘Next Level’, commissioning of Zik Mausoleum and the inspection of the ongoing second Niger Bridge.
“So we the campaign council members in the state are set to receive the president with an unpredicted crown on Thursday,” added.
The state coordinator, Senator Andy Uba, on his part said, immediately we have commenced grassroots campaign with the inauguration of the presidential campaign council in the state in order to meet up the remaining days. This will ensure that all nook and cranny of the state are well-covered, and the people mobilized to vote for the president and all APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections. We assure that we will return the president in Anambra State.
Senator Uba noted that the major point of the campaign for the president in Anambra state is the fact that the president has shown tremendous interest in and support for the development of not only Anambra but the entire south-east states.
