The Oluwo-of-Iwo, Oba Abdul Rasheed Adewale Akanbi is having an encompassing celebration today as he marks his 50th birthday with his second year anniversary on the throne.
The king hinted that former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator Bola Tinubu, are among the dignitaries expected to grace the event where the Osun State governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola will be the chief host.
Oba Akanbi also disclosed that the funfare will have the Olugbo of Ugbo, Oba Fredrick Obateru Akinruntan as the Chairman of the occasion with Haija Abbah Folawiyo the Mother of the Day.
In what he tagged A Season Of Celebration, the monarch opened a guest list that consists of Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, prominent Northern Emirs, high ranking monarchs in the country and a large number of top government functionaries who are all coming together to light up his big day.
