Members of the National Youth Service Corps serving in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory
Ibrahim Ayinla Alabi and Abubakar Kafilah have offered free medical services to residents of the Wuse 2 area of the FCT.
The medical outreach organized by the duo corp member in collaboration with Health Premial Diagnostic Nigeria Limited is part of the corps members’ Health Initiative to encourage healthy living among Nigerian.
The outreach, which witnessed hundreds of people, had engaged the dwellers on the need to prioritize their general well-being.
The outreach offered free medical consultations, treatments, and distribution of essential medicines to residents.
Also, the foundation provided a wide array of medical services such as checking height and weight, and Blood Pressure as well as sugar level and provided essential medicines to residents
The outreach drew an overwhelming response from the residents, many of whom face struggles in accessing adequate healthcare due to financial limitations.
A total of 462 residents of Wuse 2 in the Federal Capital Territory benefitted from the medical outreach including Corp Members, and residents of the community among other benefitting categories.
