About eight hundred school children selected from primary and secondary schools in four communities in Idemili North Local Government area of Anambra State have benefited from the distribution of some school materials by the executive of Building Material International Market Ogidi.
TribuneOnline gathered that the event which took place at the market premises on Friday has it that students and pupils were selected from schools within Ogbunike, Nkpor, Abatete, and Ogidi that accommodated the market.

Addressing the school children and traders at the venue, the President of the market Chief Jude Nwankwo explained that the schoolbags were donated by Chinese friends of the market last year, but they decided to give them to school children instead of distributing them among themselves to help government boost education in the state and as well as encourage the children to study hard.
Chief Nwankwo urged the students and pupils to make judicious use of the bags in order to improve in their academics.
He thanked the donors for the gesture and explained that the bags were cleared by the Nigerian customs free.
Earlier in a message during a prayer session that proceeded the event, Evangelist Emma Anago, urged the traders to be steadfast in prayers and draw closer to God for them to receive blessings from God.
In their vote of thanks, a teacher from Akpakaogwe Primary school Ogidi Mrs. Onyinye Nwadokwe and her counterpart from Wisdom Heritage Iyienu Ogidi Mr Princewill Amobi thanked members of the Market executive for their benevolence.
