The Management of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijagun, has directed the resumption of the suspended 2nd Semester Examination on Tuesday, 9th July.
This was contained in a statement signed by the University Registrar, Mr Dapo Oke, made available to Tribune Online.
Tribune Online recalls that the second-semester examinations were suspended as a result of the killing of a final-year student, Ahmed Fabiyi, by suspected cultists on the varsity campus.
According to Oke, the rescheduled dates for the continuation of the 4th, 5th, and 8th July 2024 examinations earlier suspended for security reasons will be published by the appropriate organ of the University in the course of the week.
While informing that adequate security measures have been put in place to guarantee maximum security of lives and properties and to forestall any reoccurrence of the breach of peace and campus security.
He appreciated all stakeholders on behalf of the University for their commitment and show of understanding during the unfortunate and unforeseen incident.
