Ishaku disclosed this through his Senior Special Assistant on labour matters Comr. Obida James while delivering his speech at the 40th, years anniversary of the Taraba state chapter of Nigeria Union of a local government employee (NULGE), held at the NULGE house Jalingo on a theme, the Local government yesterday, today and tomorrow, our struggle toward actualization of local government autonomy in Nigeria.
The governor explained that his government was poised to uplifting the living condition of people at grassroots, which according to him local workers were the main link for government to actualise the plan.
He said his administration has already map up plans to burst the financial standard of local government workers just as he said the government would soon put smiles on the faces of pensioners and primary school teachers in the state.

Comr. JJ Kataps Chairman local government service commission Taraba state who was also chairman of the occasion, while congratulating NULGE Taraba state at 40th said, synergy was key for the transformation of the Union.
He noted that the commission was willing to collaborate with NULGE for a better living of local government workers and the development of the Union.
Kataps caution against fortification of documents in other to remain in the civil service noted that the commission is doing all it could to reform the local government employment system so as stop the (23) century as document fortifications is no longer welcome in the commission.
In his message, Comr. Peter Gambo, Taraba state NLC chairman challenged NULGE to work as a team so as to achieve greater aims.
He stated that 40th does not mean the success of the Union in the state.
While calling on leaders of Union to be passionate for the growth members, Gambo noted that “at 40th does means this Union has achieved all.”
“I want to challenge you today that at 40th is just the beginning. You need more to do to develop NULGE greater than what it is today.”
“You must work together and be passionate about the welfare of your members to ensure unity and progress in this great Union,” Gambo noted.
The NLC chairman assured that local workers would not be left out as top beneficiaries of N30 naira minimum wage if eventually actualise.
Earlier, Comr. Prince Muhamed Mamud Bali, Taraba state NULGE President in his welcome address said the celebration of NULGE at 40th, in the state, was a sign of straight and courage, described the event as historical in the history of NULGE in Taraba as the day would be remembered forever.
The NULGE state president commended governor Darius Ishaku for appointing credible hands who are piloting the affairs of local in the state, explained that local system under governor Ishaku is reform and the workers have found their fit for service.
He pledged NULGE’s continue support for the government of governor Darius Ishaku to continue its good work.
