About 133 million youths in the world are uneducated. Youths comprise 41 per cent of the world’s unemployed people. What can be done to address this? This is the reason the #WorldYouthSkillsDay is necessary and we will – from an individual perspective – chart a way forward.
Poverty is a state of penury and lack. The only antidote to this is making a living through legal means. The pressure of acquiring education without skill acquisition should be re-visited. It is high time youths acquired skills. They should take up vocations they are passionate about. These skills can lift them above the poverty line.
It is better to try and fail than not to try at all. Do not be so afraid to fail that you fail to start.
