Nigeria’s Vice-President, His Excellency, Senator Kashim Shettima, former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), and Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Dr. Wale Babalakin, OFR, SAN and a host of other dignitaries are to attend the 30th anniversary lecture of Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) on May 3.
The grand event, according to President of NASFAT, Alhaji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, is scheduled to hold at the Main Auditorium of the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research, Yaba, Lagos to celebrate 30 years of impactful and innovative dawah propagation crafted to meet the spiritual needs of present and future generations.
NASFAT’s Chief Missioner, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, also affirms the organisation’s inclusive spiritual activities, thriving across over 360 locations worldwide, embracing all people irrespective of their background, creating a truly global Islamic movement.
According to a statement signed by NASFAT’s National Public Relations Secretary, Alhaji Shamsideen Oseni, VP Shettima will be attending the event as the special guest of honour while the keynote speech will be delivered by former Governor Fashola.

The keynote lecture will be delivered by His Excellency Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, a revered former Governor of Lagos State and an outstanding statesman. His wealth of experience, intellectual depth, and patriotic zeal are set to leave an indelible mark on the minds of all attendees while the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, an embodiment of service and innovation, will serve as the Chief Host and Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, will co-host, adding further dignity and elegance to the occasion.
The highly respected legal luminary and seasoned administrator, Dr. Wale Babalakin, OFR, SAN, will chair the lecture.
