On Senate President, Ikire flyover

GOOD intentions are not good unless carried out. This explains the noble act of Senator Bukola Saraki who asked his successor Kwara State governor to stop his severance pay after leaving office as the state helmsman and also refunded the past allowances. Bravo Senate President.

That said, I want to urge the Federal Government to reconstruct the Ikire naira and kobo flyover along Ife-Ibadan road, Osun State.The flyover, which was constructed over a decade ago, got broken a couple of months ago. The said flyover had minimised fatality in the area. It is imperative to do the needful by refixing it.

The road is a federal road that links commuters to Ibadan, Lagos, Benin, Port- Harcourt, Calabar, Ilorin, Abuja and other parts of the nation.

The Osun State government should persuade the Federal Government to reconrtruct it to check future carnage.
