Lagos State Governor Bababjide Sanwo-Olu presented the Year 2024 Appropriation Bill of N2.2trn before the State House of Assembly for approval on Wednesday.
The appropriation bill, themed “Budget of Renewal,” was presented to the members of the Hallowed Chamber at the Assembly Chamber, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
In his address to the lawmakers, Sanwo-Olu mentioned that the budget represents hope for these challenging times, echoing the renewed hope of the Federal Government.
The governor stated that the budget is designed to propel Lagos towards a progressive trajectory, adding that there is a lot to be hopeful for in 2024.
