I read somewhere that a high rate of sex is good to keep the Prostate Gland healthy. Kindly let me know if this is true.

David (by SMS)

It is not true that a high rate of sex will keep away a prostate problem. The Prostate gland has been found to benefit from the following; a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats, staying hydrated by drinking adequate amounts of water, regular exercise to maintain a healthy weight and reduce the risk of prostate-related issues. In addition, maintaining a healthy weight by combining a balanced diet with regular exercise, limiting alcohol consumption to avoid increased risks of prostate issues, avoidance of smoking to reduce the risk of prostate cancer as well as practicing safe sexual habits to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Regular check-ups and screenings from your healthcare provider, especially if prostate issues become more common.
