Rotary District 9125 has said that the death of the chief of staff to the Kwara State governor, Alhaji Usman Adisa Logun, will not only leave a void in the lives of people of the state but in the hearts of all those who knew him.
In a condolence message to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in Ilorin on Sunday, the Rotary District Governor for District 9125, Chief (Mrs) Jumoke Bamigboye, described the death as a loss to the state.
It is recalled that the chief of staff to the governor died of coronavirus complications in Ilorin at 73 years of age last week.
Rotarian Bamigboye is the wife of former military governor of Bauchi and Osun states, Colonel Theophilus Bamigbiye.

“On behalf of all of us at Rotary District 9125, I extend our genuine sympathies to you and the good people of Kwara State during this period of distress. I am writing to you to express my sincere condolences to you after learning of the passing of Aminu Adisa Logun, Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kwara State. I know this is an uncertain and emotionally difficult time for you.
“Your Excellency Sir, I want to let you know that you have my greatest sympathy, my heart is truly saddened, but I know that his passing will not only leave a void in our lives but in the hearts of all those who knew him.
“Many of us here knew him personally, and his personality trait was well-loved among the people of Kwara State. He will be solely missed.
“May Allah enhance your recompense on this loss, be generous on this calamity, forgive all the sins he committed and place him among all the lucky ones to follow the Prophet in Jannah. We surely belong to Allah and him we shall return”, she said.
