We started the project in 2023 and we actually started with RC of Mende Midtown in Lagos when we exchanged visit to Lagos and during the meeting, we came up with the idea that the meeting should not be about merriment alone but what we can benefit from exchange right there, we decided that we should embark on a borehole project in Ibadan and we were asked to go and look for a location.
“Luckily for us, when we were looking for a location, we discover that the community that is very close to us here at the club house is suffering from water.
“We consulted them, we agreed to do the borehole and informed our partner in Lagos and members of the clubs stated donating and here is the success today.”

Also, President of the RC of Mende Midtown, Mr Richard Edy said the project is significant for them as the month of March for Rotary International, is tagged to provide water and a good environment.
