Robin Uzoma Okechukwu, widely known as RobingBanks, is a talented Nigerian male singer and songwriter hailing from Imo, Nigeria, with roots in Ezeoke, Mhime Mbano local government. Born on May 27th, 1998, he’s the youngest of four siblings. His educational journey took him through St. Peter’s Anglican for nursery and primary education and later, he completed his secondary schooling at Federal Government College Keffi in Nassarawa State.
Embarking on his musical journey at a young age, RobingBanks officially entered the music scene in 2020 with his debut track, “Hold me Tight,” under the moniker “OG Robin.” However, a significant rebranding took place in 2023, and he emerged as RobingBanks, marking a new chapter in his artistic career.
In 2023, he tugged at heartstrings with his poignant first single, “TOO MANY DAYS,” showcasing his growth as an artist. Utilizing social media platforms, RobingBanks strategically built his fanbase by sharing freestyles and covers, captivating audiences with his musical prowess.
He gained lots of recognition after a freestyle song he released in August 2023 titled “PULL UP” that went viral and was widely accepted by fans worldwide.
One of his notable achievements includes the release of the music video for “TOO MANY DAYS” & freestyle viral for “PULL UP” on YouTube, exhibiting not only his vocal abilities but also a visual storytelling finesse.
